The Salonorchester Old Vienna - which regroups virtuoso instrumentalists, top opera singers and entrancing ballet soloists - plays the most beautiful works by “Waltz King” Johann Strauss and the immortal Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Owing to its particular arrangement, the Salonorchester Old Vienna can reach wonderful symphonic acoustics, and that without any conductor. The first violin directs the orchestra and Johann Strauss himself used to direct his orchestra from the position of first violin. The constant dialogue between the musicians creates a special atmosphere full of positiv energy which is passed on to the public.
Every evening, the Salonorchester Alt Wien plays the most famous extracts from Johann Strauss I, Johann Strauss II, Josef Strauss and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
